Bio-Logging Young Researchers Meeting 2026

Oct 7 (Wed) afternoon – Oct 8 (Thu) morning, 2026 SOKENDAI (Hayama, Kanagawa)

About

On the day before the symposium, we will hold a meeting exclusively for young researchers. Under the theme "All about bio-logging data analysis," we will discuss the details, tips, and struggles of data analysis that are usually omitted from presentations — for as long as time allows.

Dates
Oct 7 (Wed) afternoon – Oct 8 (Thu) morning, 2026
Venue
SOKENDAI (Hayama, Kanagawa)
Theme
All about bio-logging data analysis
Eligibility
Students, postdocs, and researchers at an equivalent career stage
Registration Fee
Free (the organizers arrange nearby hotel accommodation, including some shared rooms, and plan to cover accommodation costs fully or largely through a grant program; travel expenses are provided for invited speakers)

Presentation Format

Participants can give a poster presentation and a flash talk of a few minutes. Presentations may overlap with those at the symposium, and progress reports on ongoing research are also welcome. To reduce the preparation burden, those giving an oral presentation at the symposium may participate by printing their slides and displaying them as a poster.
